U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team
Helmed by U.S. MNT assistant coach Andi Herzog, he primary goal of the U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team is qualification for the quadrennial Olympic Games.
Previously open to senior national teams, Olympic men’s soccer was restricted to the Under-23 age group beginning with the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Since that time, the U.S. Under-23 Men’s National Team has participated in four of the six editions of the Summer Olympics – missing out on the tournament in 2004 and 2012 – and earning a team-best, fourth-place finish in 2000.
The talent pool continues to grow deeper and more experienced with each passing cycle as U.S. players establish their professional careers at earlier ages and the net is cast wider in search of the best talent available to represent the United States.
