CHICAGO (Aug. 12, 2014) – The U.S. Futsal National Team has named its 14-man roster for a foreign training camp in Argentina Aug. 23-Sept. 3 that will include multiple friendlies against Argentina and club teams in the area.
The Futsal National Team last gathered for a domestic training camp June 9-15 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and played two friendlies against France, losing the first match 5-3 on June 12 and winning the second 5-2 on June 14.
The current roster features 14 players from 12 different states, including one from Brazil and another from Liberia. John Leisman is the youngest player on the team at 16 years old, while Jeff Richey, 36, is the oldest.
