Coaches Will Attend U.S. MNT Training Session and Sold-Out Match
CHICAGO (Sept. 13, 2013) – In commemoration of its 100th anniversary, U.S. Soccer has embarked on a year-long celebration honoring its history and setting a path for the future of the sport throughout 2013. In connection with the Centennial, U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Education Department has held Coaching Symposia around every home U.S. MNT 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier. The Symposium Series continues Oct. 10-11 with the last home game of the Final Round and will give attendees an “insider’s” view of 2014 World Cup Qualifying.
Registration for the symposium at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan., includes two days of professional educational presentations and discussions, guest presenters, exclusive training session access, a match ticket to the sold-out game, pre-game reception, game-day parking pass and a U.S. Soccer gift. Registration is open to all U.S. Soccer-licensed coaches.
Special hotel pricing has been secured for each two-day symposium. Additional details will be shared with registered coaches.
U.S. Soccer “A” licensed coaches can earn two (2) “Continuing Education Units” for attending a symposium and completing a written technical component related to the match.
